It is planned to function as an open forum and archive for visions, ideas and projects for library of tomorrow. To start out with, there are presented three innovative student projects which all have been under work in Spring 2002. * Tuomas Toivonen writes about general urban condition and calls for new community/city/architecture. Tuomas is one of the founding members of Aula coperative which has a large role in his architect graduation project. * Antti Lassila's diploma work features 6 themes defining the identity and aspirations of the New Central Library. * Students on University of Art and Design took part in international design contest The Space of Culture: The Library Between Real Memory and Virtual Language The "Kontti" concept which is presented here won first place in the contest.
